Really quick guys, this *$%! is driving me crazy. I'm trying to install the greddy profec b 2 and i am a almost done, but i don't know which vacume hoses go to vavle unit. I pretty sure one goes to actuator but there are two, i think (it's getting dark), and another hose supposely goes either to the air intake or the thing-a-ma-bob. Please help me my fellow DSMers

that is what im trying to use but it is not helping. the valve control part is confusing.

I've never personally installed a profec b, but ill try to interprete the directions (along with the help of a vacuum hose diagram of a 2G - I would post it but its printed out and I dont know where it came from). Anyway it sounds like there is 3 ports on the solenoid, COM (to go to wastegate actuator), IN (to go to any boost source, like from the fuel pressure solenoid), and then a 3rd port for an external wastegate, you can just leave that alone. It sounds like there is a line running from the fuel pressure solenoid to your intake, right? Tee into this line, and run it to the IN port on the solenoid. Then there should be a line running from the WGA (wastegate actuator) to the turbo. Tee into this line, and run that to the COM port. Please let me know if this is how its done. Good luck!

i dont know what you mean when you state that the line running from the fuel pressure solenoid to the intake should be teed, cuz the line running from the fuel pressure solenoid is running to the intake manifold and that should be teed and then runned to the unit. Right? This is really kicking my ass.

i understand that but the intial question was what and where do the vacume hoses go to and from the valve unit

By valve unit, you mean the greddy solenoid right? If so heres a diagram I wipped up in MS Paint:

im a little confused in your diagram it says to tee the line that runs from the intake manifold to the fuel solenoid but in you photo you spliced the vacumn that runs from other of the solenoid to the end of the fuel rail?? its confusing me because you diagram is not the same as your how to photo

i guess it doesnt matter if u use teh one dat runs to the end of the fuel rail ?? right??
