hey all, i have a 97 gst that i did a 6bolt swap on. i left the stock 14b on there and put on a new fmic & pipes, exhaust, boost controller, dsmlink, injectors, fuel pump, adjustable fpr, and various other goodies. anyhow, i got a call from the shop that they put it on the dyno, got it running and idling good, and road tested it for about 3 days. id say they put 10-15 miles on it. so i go to pick it up and everything is great until i pull up to a stop sign, and it stalls. as long as i gave it a little gas, it would keep running. after my searches, i think that it has to do with the vehicle speed sensor. so after i learn to keep it idling at a stop, again everything is fine. so im about 10 mins from my house after a 45 min drive going up a slight hill. i hit the gas just enough to keep cruising and i have NO power. there was a weird whurring sound and it started to smoke light gray, i had to keep giving it a little gas to keep it going while i pulled it over immediately and turned it off. of course i didnt have the laptop to take info with dsmlink because that would have been too helpful... called the shop and they had it towed back. after a few days, i talked to them again and they said they did a compression test, 148-155 was the range of numbers. they also said the car idled and ran fine but my timing was off like 10 degrees. they are going to look into it further, but in the mean time does anyone have any suggestions? the only thing that i can think is that they turned to boost up too high (i think it was around 18 lbs) for safety purposes when they were tuning it. ANY help is greatly appreciated. i really want my baby back on the road. thanks.

no, its a recirculated hks. and i also forgot to mention that there was no CEL during any of this... thanks

I think you might have a bad turbo becuase mine did that to me twice and it sounds like your havin the same problem. my turbine wheel was completely gone and it smoked a little at first and after a while it smoked a lot and it made that wierd whuring noise.
