Ok here's the deal, When accelerating my car seems like it falls on its face at around 4000-4500. Around that time, my timing seems to skyrocket to around 30-33 degrees and my egts at wot are around 780-800 degrees celcius. I know narrowband o2's mean nothing but they stay constant at .94. Also, I just upgraded my smic to a supra smic and on both of them after even 12psi pulls it I feel the uicp and its warm almost hot. I cleaned the supra smic before i put it in and it has been pressure tested. Also, my idle likes to stay at around 1500-2000 for some reason and I just put a new pcv valve in. I was thinking my accel problems may be my fuel filter so I am about to put one of those in, but if its not that what do you think it may be? My plugs have about 3-4000 miles on them and my plug wires are pretty new also. I am thinking my water pump may be on its way out, could that be a problem that could associate itself w/ this? My vacuum seems to be alright ranging from 16-18 in-lbs of Hg. I also, just checked my plugs, BPR 7es, and the tips on all 4 are white, doesn't that mean I am running lean? Wouldn't running lean produce knock and knock hence pull my timing? Then how am I getting crazy timing at WOT????? I have been searching for the cause of this for a long time now Please let me know what you think and thanks for your help.
