slow spool in a t-28

got my car back from turbotrix for a dyno tune a few weeks ago and they said the same thing. My t-28 killer is spooling much too slow. They said they did a boost leak test and everything came out fine... and a recent compression test confirmed the same. i am getting full boost by 4500-5000 rpms getting me to run 13.7's with a 105 trap speed...

i want to get that number up, and the spool time of my turbo.. what could be wrong?

Its probably those tail lights.

Seriously though, did you make sure that everything is nice and port matched? Do you have a FMIC? Intercooler upgrade? O2 housing upgrade? Testpipe\High flow cat? If you just slapped a bigger turbo on it without upgrading the rest of the airflow its not going to spool very quickly. Also make sure that the wastegate flapper arm is pulling the flapper door completely closed when the car is turned off (0 boost.) If its not that could simulate what would look like a high RPM boosting process. Good luck!

thanks for your input. as you can see in my profile.. all of the above. what internally in the turbo could be wrong that could yield something like this.
i do also burn oil (slowly) and get a faint rancid smell of Mobil 1 burning when i shift just thought that may help...
