Hopefully someone can help me out with this. I have a 98 Eagle Talon Tsi Awd with a car battery that is about 6 months old. So far in the last week i have had to jump the battery every morning because the car won't start. I took it to NTB where i bought the batter to have it tested and they are telling me it tests fine, i can't get a new one. Durring the day when i drive the car and shut it down for a little it always starts right up and always works fine. It's just overnight that it loses juice. Anyone know what could be causing this, or if there is another way to test. Thanks

I would agree, something is tapped into the constant 12v+ in the car which is draining the battery. Try this, when you park it for the night, pull the negative battery terminal off and then when you get up in the morning put it back on and see if it works.

Sounds like maybe a light is staying on all night, or something isn't grounded properly. Since you're going to be messing around with the battery and the other electronics it's a good time to clean or replace your battery cable terminals (<$5 at Kragen etc)

Get out your multimeter that measures current as well as voltage (or call up your friend that has one) and connect it in-between the + side of the battery and the + battery cable. That'll tell you how much current you're drawing. Now start pulling fuses/unplugging stuff until the current draw basically disappears. That's your problem. I'd start with the alternator, they tend to draw a bunch of current when they burn a diode.
