ok heres the deal, about 8 months ago my brothers TB skipped an f**ked the head over, so we had it rebuilt an as luck has it the head its self got bent so we got a new one an had it rebuilt too, well now the car runs, the TB was put on professionally, and it idles at 1200 with a slight back fire thing goin on, it smokes black right when u turn the car on for like 5 sec., we have a datalogger an it ses the timings being pulled to 14 at 1200 rpm..his boost gauge reads -10 on vac and never goes past -10, i swear it should be ~-20, we have gone over his entire intake setup, his car is stock minus the brand new evoiii exhaust mani. his car also will not go past 0 on his boost gauge when revd in N, it used to blow off when u revd N but now it doesnt even build boost..we are lost an have no ideas, neone have a similar problem..?
