stuck axle, stuck abs speed sensor...pos!!!

first off, im doin an engine swap....well the axle in this bi*** is stuck...we pouned it to get it out...but the metal of the axle started bending...so we figured to replace the axle/hub...but still need to get the other piece of metal off from in there....the abs vehicle speed sensor WILL NOT come out of there...any suggeestions???...we just spent like 2 hours tryin to get that one f-in sensor out and it wont budge ...the screw of it is out...but the sensor wont come off....the rotor is off

I'm having this identical problem except the head of the abs screw turned right off. Any help?

I wanted to start a new topic but i have no permission, so I end up bumping on this thread. The same problem i have with my ABS speed sensor. I hope someone here can help both of us.

The ABS sensor can be a pain to get out. I've broken 2 of them trying to get them out.

From what I'm told, PB blaster helps, but isn't a guarantee. Sometimes they just get stuck.

The axle is probably seized in the hub. I've had to replace 2 axles out of 3 wheel bearings.

One thing Ive found that works for me on stuck axles that I knew I wasnt going to reuse is to cut it at the boot closest to the car, and grab it on opposite sides of the cup with vise grips. Apply even pressure seemed to do the trick for me. No clue on the ABS sensor. Hope my input somewhat helps.

I had to trash mine to get it out. I had to remove the knuckle, and use a socket and a big ass brass hammer. needless to say it broke. All you can do is try, if it breaks you will just have to do as I did and get a new ABS sensor. Deleting ABS is always an option as well.
