Whining sound

Everytime I first start driving my car, like the first few blocks or so, I hear a low whining sound coming from the right side of my car. It sounds like its maybe coming from the wheels. It sounds like a rubbing sound, but i goes away after a minute or so. Any one know?

Does anyone know? It sounds like maybe its coming from the rotors...it goes away when i stop but comes back when i hit like 1 mph...

If it sounds like the rotors, it could be the brake dusk shield is rubbing the rotor maybe, it did it to me also.

How do you check that? Is there a way to fix it?

You just push the shield back.

Agreed... loose lug nuts but not take off, raise car, spin the tires to see if you hear the whine, but I think it's more of a squeal. If it is coming from that tire then take if off. And look in back of the rotors. From there you should see a heat sheild. At times it bends and finds itself touching the rotors. If so, just push it back with a fore head or hammer.
Remember to check all four because sometimes the sound can be heard here but is coming from here, like an echo. And then pm me if it helps!
