ok...heres what happened. i was on my way to the track and i punched it and it was vibrating very bad and didnt want to rev. my first thought was the ####ing balance shaft belt...i took the cover off and it was shredded and wedged behind the idler pulley..i took it out, replaced the t-belt and just left the balance shafts there with no belt. i just wanted to know if there is any severe concequences to doing this other than being an annoyance with the vibration. i have heard others do it tho. also, at 5500 now there is a hesitation in the revving, it kind of stops revving for a second then keeps going. any idea why?
