ok my 97 gst is pretty much stock, i just got it like a month ago and all i`ve done is a bov, venting to the air, and when i`am driving and i push the clutch in it will drop to about 100 rpm`s and some times quit.
does any one kow what`s up?

when u vent ur bov it messes up ur air to fuel for a second and will make ur car stall. my friend jus bought a 95 talon awd and he had it recirculated into intake. and i took it off to hear see the diff between it vented and recir (for him hes a newbie) and he reved it without recir and it alomost stalled at rev so id assume its the venting recirculate and ull feel maybe even a diff in performance :dsm:

You cant vent to the air with the stock fuel system because the ECU thinks that the air that is supposed to be going back into the intake still is. Therefore it adds fuel for air that is not there and stalls out your car. There is pretty much no need to vent to atmosphere except for the "cool noise" factor. Especially with no mods. :) What BOV did you get? Try and return it to the intake and see if that fixes your problem. If not post back here.

i got a turbo xs, i`ve had it on there for almost a month and it started this 4days ago.i will just throw my stock one back on and return mine and get one that recirculates.
