anyone in the maryland area up for a rebuild project???

engine's done far as I can tell, could've used a rebuild anyway if ya ask me . here's the predicament, wasn't planning on it so soon ( who ever does??) think it's just the head gasket, could be more, but the car still runs and drives...to a point. so I'm hopeful that it isn't a huge problem (rod, crank...etc) what I need to know is... anybody know of a reliable person or shop, other than extreme motorsports ( way too expensive ) that can do a reliable rebuild for me, and be reasonable in price??? or a place to get a good running used engine from? Or anyone with some piston experience willing to help out an engine rebuild newbie? I'd actually rather do the work myself with some help, so I know what to do in the future (I've had some bad mechanic experience in the past and am wary of taking the car anywhere)

Whats up...I am from the Bel Air area, and a friend of mine is also. If you want to get together sometime and figure this out let me know. We never have anything to do anyways, so if you're serious we could likely help out.

definitely serious about figuring out what's wrong with her... I'm off every sunday through tuesday, and every other wednesday. I'd be very appreciative of any help you could offer, everybody tells me it's something different, I need to figure out the real problem and get it fixed pronto
