So I did a few pulls and came back and popped the hood and there's about a quarter cup of oil in the valve cover. It's not coming from a bad valve cover gasket because the plug wires are dry inside the cover. The dipstick is zip tied down so it won't pop out and I can't tell where it's coming from.. The oil got over a bunch of other stuff in the engine bay also, but I can't track any trail back to where it's coming from.. I was told I may have a crack in the valve cover? I can't see anything though?

Most likely a crack in the vc, i couldn't see my crack until i took it off and found it on the underside, fixed mine with some jb weld, been holding fine

Thanks. It's pretty much a brand new valve cover gasket, but I used RTV around it to keep it on and to better seal it. Should I get a new gasket since I did that or can I reuse this one?

It also could be the felt washer under the oil cap- buy another one from the dealer and put it on top of your old washer. It'll make your cap a little harder to get on but it will seal alot better. It's only like a dollar or so for the new gasket.

Well I replaced the oil cap with a new one today and still have the problem. Maybe I'll try taking the old felt gasket and doubling up with the new cap and gasket.
