Can't figure out hesitation, MAS?

93 talon awd, i have compression readings over 150 across the board...new ngk 6's gapped .30, waiting for new 8mm wires, timing is perfect. i adjusted igition timing it makes no difference...here's what im not sure about, it hesitates and seems to vibrate a little bit more than normal...i made sure every timing mark is lined up and yes the oil pump is set right..lacks power...idles fine, sounds almost like a slight misfire but im not sure...with the MAS plugged IN i get a vacuum of 13 or so, when i unplug the mas...it still idles fine i think it went up in RPMs but i get a perfect 18 vacuum although it still hesitates. im going to datalog it and check trims...i positive it's running rich sometimes you can smell the gas....barely drivable...and im almost dead...please help.

also no matter what the boost is set at, it will only boost about 8psi, no higher...and even in upper rpms i loose power when going up a hill or anything...it's slower than my 92 corolla, it also whines and just overall doesn't sound right...the turbo has no shaft play and seems to be fine...sound like a boost leak...haven't tested yet and my intercooler pipes look like shit from the previous owner...anyother suggestions? sorry for the length...Nick

check your wastegate. I've noticed that with the wastegate arm disconnected on a 14b that it can give a small amount of boost then it blows the door open and wont boost any higher. Make your own boost leak tester.

yeah i will, also, the injectors look like they have been tampered with...is it possible i have a fault in one of the injectors, im definately running excessively rich. maybe stuck open? thanks
