Weird noise

Another ? for you all My car is making this awful squeeling sound when I drive and no its not the belts I hear it more at slow speeds and its very annoying anyone have this prob or know of it let me know? Thanks

Where does it sound like it's coming from? If it's the wheels it could be the pad wear indicator rubbing on the rotor (which it does to tell you the pads are almost worn out).

I dont think thats the problem because usually when you hit the brakes that sound would change and this sound I have does not change, but mabey my myth is incorrect and I will check the pads.

Also I have noticed a 60mph and up vibration I have had all new tires and balanced all of the twice and the vibration is still there even rotated them too, does anyone think it could be the rotors that are that bad??

When you rotate the tires does the vibration go with it? If so one of your "new" tires may be out of round or not mounted correctly on the wheel.

Lots of brake things can cause sqweels - missing anti-sqweel clips/plates, warped rotors, bad/incorrect choice of pads, floating brake caliper stuck (which happens after age or driving in muck). I always use Mits pads cause all others I've tryed give problems. Warped rotors almost always vibrate the brake pedal when braking lightly.
