I am deffinatly noob when it comes to DSMs, i know a little about their history, crankwalk, etc. but im not to familiar with all the details. First question i have is about the oil pressure guage. When im driving normal, it is in the region where the brackets say it should be, but when im at a dead stop (redlights, stopsign etc) it is WAY low, like right above the L. I was wondering how bad that is, i know it cant be good. And if it directly related to a really slight "clicking" noise in the dash it sounds like, it only did it i noticed when the air is on, but tonight when i parked it, at idle it was doing it to, with the air off. If you can give me any advise or heads up i would appriciate it, i dont got a lot of money to fix it. I purchased it from a Nissan Dealership in orlando fl, with 67k miles. Apparently, a 60+ year old lady owned it before me and she traded it in on a auotmatic 350z, red. So please help if you can. Oh yea i got it for 6k, tax, tag and title out the door.
are you sure that it needs to be that low? like it is right above the big L. Im new to these cars and it is just puzzling. thanks for your help and if you didnt mind describe a solenoid, and how expensive is it to replace?
