Ok...first off, about 2 years ago I replaced my thermostat because the car was running much too cold (actually cut off a couple times.)

Now it is running hot.

Since then I have switched to a 2.5" full exhaust and added a weapon R intake with a ram air kit that draws air from under the car and into a custom port on the aircan.

I think it may be my fans not coming on.

The upper radiator hose is hot and feels full. The fans will come on when I turn on the AC. But I have yet to see them come on otherwise.

What should I check first? Is there an easy way to wire the fans to always be on when the car is running?

Well, IS it running hot, or is it just the gauge saying so? (bad sender)

Next suspect is the radiator cap, then the thermostat. From there you go on to a dirty radiator or bad hoses.

Those are the easy guesses.

The engine seems to be much hotter, the cap is certainly hot...hehheh.

The fluid is showing at a good mix, and it looks clean. The gauge is showing an increase, almost always reaching the high mark under normal driving conditions.

Cap is original, it's clean and looks new.

Just because it LOOKS new doesnt mean squat. Their relatively cheap and probably wouldnt hurt if it was new you know cheap insurance.
