I have a 90 Eagle Talon TSI 2.0 Turbo.

This car is completely modified for rally cross. I recently began plans to tune the engine a bit more for this season when i ran into a problem. I took out the oil dipstick and it smells like gas. Then the car had a problem cold starting. Compression, pressure, everything was right. I took out the sparks and they were covered in gas. Then i took out the fuel rail and checked the injectors. No leak. I'm going to the auto shop to get a check light for the injectors tommorow to see if they are getting the right voltage. Any suggestions?

yup i do. The car will start if ether is sprayed into the intake. But i did that once just to see if it would and it does.

How would you know when injectors are leaky? i took out the fuel rail and inpected it and the injectors looked fine. No dirt, no nothing.

suggestion? thanks.

To check the injectors you have to pull the rail and leave the injectors attached, then just turn the key to on (not start) to prime the pump. Watch the nozzles for drips.
Good luck :thumb:

Also check for fuel pressure or listen for the pump to kick on when you hit the key, it sounds like you are obviously not getting any fuel supply.
