SUPRA Smic.....End Tank??

i am having problems w/ my supra smic guyz. i installed it according to vfaq and it fitted fine with my greddy intercooler pipes. when test driving the car after the install, the top end tank would blow off every time i'd get on it. i closed the end tank up and evened epoxied it and still ended up blowin the top end tank. I was thinkin this happened maybe cause i'm still on a stock fuel pump.(Too much air, not enough fuel)

Mods:injen intake, Full 3in no cat exhaust, greddy intercooler piping and bov.
Stock t25 at 15-17 psi(w/ NO boost cont.) and stock fuel pump.

Any suggestions??

Make sure all those metal tabs are bent around the top end tank cover. the top end tank should of never been flipped though in the first place.

You should pressure test the IC next time you have it off also. Here's what I do. Take an old bike tire tube and stretch it over the IC outlet or inlet (make sure part of tube has no holes!!). Clamp the tube on to make an air tight seal. Build an intake leak tested and clamp it on the other IC outlet or inlet. Now stick it in a bath tub full of water, pressurize with a bike pump and check for leaks.

Maybe when you took the endtank off you pinched the rubber gasket and now its acting up.

Damn plastic end tanks.......adfx smic was a good deal till they boosted their price 125 more.......

Get 2 large hoseclamps and put them around the entire assembly and it won't pop off.
