I just got my car back from a front end collision, and had to replace my damaged OEM intercooler, so I replaced it with an APEXI FMIC. And now Im having a problem, my turbo seems to open alot quicker and doesn't pull as hard, and everytime I try to "punch" my car it pulls back. And im planing to take a long trip and I will have to climb mountains, so Im worried that if I gas my car to climb the mountains, my car is going to pull back. Please let me know whats the problem, and Is there anything I can do to fix it. thanks, Joe

I would do a pressure test to the intake system. I had a problem that seemed similar to yours, i could run fine until i opened it up and hit about 14 psi when the car would just give out on me( total loss of power). I was hitting 14 psi and it was blowing through one of my hose clamps that had stripped out and released tension on the rubber sleeves. Check it out, might be worth a look.:thumb: :dsm:
