hello,
i have a 98 talon tsi w/ a little issue when arming the factory alarm.
anytime i lock my car, after a drive of a few minutes or longer, my cal alarm will go off shortly after i lock the doors. however, if park the car for about 10 minutes or so and then go back to lock my car the factory alarm will not go off. it just seems to trigger the alarm when i lock up the car qucikly after i'm doen drving it.
do you guys have any solutions or ideas of things that i might need to look into inorder to fix this cause it's kind of a pain in the ass not to be able to lock up my car at night or when i'm out in town.

Yes, Cut the green/white ground wire for your stock alarm in your kick panel. Go buy a new alarm with an LCD pager on it so when it goes off the car will tell you.

Thats just what i did and it makes me feel alot better to know that the second someone opens the door with it armed my pager goes off. Got mine off ebay for like 100 bucks. A good investment compared to thousands of electronics stolen.
