venting to the atmosphere will make ur car run like crap, so its probably not a great idea.

i dont even kno where stock bov is this is my first dsm

dude if you dont even know where the stock bov is then i wouldnt suggest even messing around with your car at all until you know the basics...

and to answer your question yes you can make it louder by venting, but again i wouldnt suggest it

when i bought my car the first thing i did was vent to atmosphere and i never had any problems. pulled motor for 4g64 swap and no more buildup than normal. so i am not a believer in the open to atmosphere is and bad thing idea.

Yup (wasn't the first thing I did) but i have no problems either.
