oil line moved could that be problem

i have a 92 turbo and i bought it with a blown 13b. i put a b16g on it with a 2g manifold along with many pother parts. now theres smoke coming from the trbo and manifold. the turbo is brand new and i dont know why it would smoke. i found out the the previous owner moved the oil line that connects to the head from the front part of the head to the left side cause the front one stripped out. a shop said its sucking oil and they didnt know y. could this be it? i dont know what either of the holes in the head that you can thread the bolt into do.

What do you mean he switched it from the front of the head? The oil feed line from the turbo goes to the (passenger side) of the head. The turbo is smoking from the bottom of the ex. mani. and the top of the turbo? did you replace all the gaskets? I know when i had mine all apart i re-routed the oil feed line down to the oilfilter housing because my bolt broke off in the regular spot(jb welded) when i put the whole car back together it smoked for awhile because of all the liquids that were used while removal, but then it stopped. I dont think the oil feed line would be causing your car to smoke though. make sure everything is tightened down also! Sorry i couldent help anymore but i was just giving you my personal experience.

thats weird my line was orinally on the left part on the fron of the ehad and the side was plugged up.then they got switched.

Before i rerouted mine to the oilfilter housing, i was going to route it to where you are speaking of but i couldent get the allen bolt loose.

all that aside why is my turbo pumping oil back into my exhaust manifold?
