ok so i am driving down the road coming home from work and i get up to about 40 mph and as i am accelerating my car starts jerking a little or hesitating till i hit about 55 then about 10 seconds later i hear a loud ass thud sounded liek i hit something so i pull over to the side of the road and i hear a radling under my car like my muffle is raddling or something so i look dont see anything wrong so i get in my car and my environtment control lights are on wich they never worked before but all of a sudden work so i drive home nothing wrong with car just the raddle noise with has been happening for awhile and i park the car look under hood and notice that something is glowing red but there is a shield in the way so i cant see what it is..... is that normal the drive from my work is about 10 minutes. sorry about the book..

that glowing thing under your car is probobly your catalytic converter. as long as it's not plugged up too bad or cause crappy performance it should be fine.
did you actually hit something when you were driving? if you did, whatever it was might have bent or shifted the heat shield and cause it to make contact to your catalytic converter. that might be where the rattle is comming from.
when your car is COLD climb under there and check it out to see if the heat shield is touching the catalytic converter. if it is just bend it back or whatever and see if that helps. that's what the problem sounds like to me. good luck man!

the glowing us under the hood but i think u are right about the ratling noise being the heat shield thanks man

I don't know if this helps but, after driving my car hard for awhile I noticed the temp gauge was getting on the high side so I popped the hood to checked things out, my exhaust manifold was glowing red and making a popping noise as it cooled. Checked coolant levels and topped off problem fixed, also a t25 at 17psi probably wasn't helping.
