Whats up guys,
This problem concerns a friend of mine. He has a automatic '99 GSX, and his mods are a intake with the BOV recirculation fitting cut out, a filter, a upper intercooler pipe from the intercooler to the elbow, a Greddy Type S BOV which is recirculating, and a removed boost restrictor solenoid. The problem came about when we put in the intercooler piping and the blow-off valve today. After we finished putting that stuff inw e took it for a test drive and his boost guage resgistered 22 lbs. but we didn't hit fuel cut, we would def. know. Now when he revs it in neutral the boost reads 10 lbs. I think that it might be a problem with the gauge but I want to be totally sure. Thanks a lot for any input.

Definately a problem with the guage if it is reading 10 pounds when in neutral.
