misfire? bogging? spark?? HELP PLEASE!

we just got a 90 laser RS turbo and today we changed the plugs, did a comp test, changed the oil, seafoamed it and its still ideling funny.

we got 140/133/130/130 comp test from left to right.

if the car is over 1k rpm its fine and pulls hard but if its under 1k it sounds like wrx almost like its misfireing. it idels rough then it bogs and almost dies when it does this it make a pop/snaping sound almost like its sparking really hard or something. we tryed adjusting the idel screw and it does not help.

we also put some fuel injector cleaner in there and we are gona change the fuel filter in the morning.

any advice would be great, we need to get this car going asap.

Have you datalogged the car. I would do this. Sounds like you replaced all the ignitions stuff. Have you set your timing via the manual. Have you checked for boost leaks.

no i havent done any of that, im a honda guy i know nothing about DSM cars. the timing will be checked tomaorw.

when we seafoamed the car we noticed that some smoke/exhaust was coming from the engine. so i think there might be a exhaust leak. how could i check for a boost leak?

also there is a turboXS BOV on there and when it goes off it sounds like a fluter. is there a way to adjust it so it goes PISSSSSSSSST 1 time instead of the featherd sound??

I think that your idle problem is comming from the BOV.
Venting the bov is a big no no on a dsm.
tighten the bov adjster is it has one and if that doesn't help
than I would look at the ICS (idle speed motor).

im not sure how to adjust it, this is our first turbo car. if i take the BOV off and block the hole with my hand would that be a good test to see if tis the BOV?
