OK. This has been happening ever since my car was non-turbo. After awhile driving with the engine at running temp it would act like it was miss-firering and start jerking and the engine would have no power and it wouldnt acclerate at all. Now since I did the turbo conversion it still does it. Would it be my coil pack? Just throw some answers out b/c Im stumped. I fix what I think is the problem and its not.

what did you fix that you thought was the problem?

your problem could be anything from bad plug wires, bad ingition coil pack, bad power transistor unit to maybe even a bad ECU.... i would say check al that stuff ( dont forget to check your spark plugs) and maybe even pull out your computer and make sure the capacitors on it aren't leaking.

give us some more details on your problem. does your car do this at WOT? maybe you're even hitting fuel cut, or you could even have a pluged fuel filter...... give us some more info.

Check your ignition coil, and the converter under it. Buy some electrical component cleaner, and take the clip off of each of them. Spray them a little on the contacts, getting the wire side, and the plug side. Dry them out, and reconnect. Tell me if this works, cause I did this to my friends car, having the same trouble you described, and it fixed it.

It doesnt to it at WOT. I replaced the fuel pump and spark plugs not to far back. I will check the coil pack, wires, plugs again, Ill even replace the fuel filter b/c thats a easy 20 minute fix. Ill let you guys know more soon.

did you ever figure out what was causing your car to jerk/missfire? if you did, let me know. mine does it.

when it's at operating temp. at about 3k RPM, it looses massive power, my air/fuel guages goes INSANE!!! and my EGT's drop to like 500*F What the hell??
when it's running normal at 2500 RPM my EGT's are at 1000*F

what would cause that?
