i have a big problem with my maf on a 1g. i see all kinds of cars that just have a filter off there turbo. can someone please tell me how do i elimanate my maf? rewire anything i will try anything. please i want my maf gone. oh and its a cyclone wireing harness to a stock 1g maf thats why it is F'ed

You want your MAS gone? You know what that does right? The only you can get rid of it I think is with a VPC or GM MAS. Either way you need a way to monitor intake air so the computer can adjust to the correct air/fuel ratio. Sorry though I am not sure about the Cyclone wiring. I know people on this board use it though so maybe somebody can help you further. Good luck

the wireing is very close to the same. but i need no maf or mas w.e. like this pic all gone. because right now the ecu is telling me my maf isent there at all, its all broken all the sensers

heh, if your ECU is telling you there's no MAF, it's probably unplugged, or you messed up the wiring.

You _NEED_ some sort of air-metering setup, the MAF is the stock sensor that tells the ECU how much air is coming into the engine, and therefore how much fuel to inject. Without that, your car won't run.

You can replace the MAF with a different type of air metering setup (There's the Translator + GM-MAF setup that is fairly new, or something like a VPC, which has been around for ages), but if your wiring is screwed up, it's still not going to work.

My suggestion to you is: Get rid of any ideas about "JDM", because it's the exact same thing we get here in the US (essentially, I know there's differences, but for any people that are reading this that know otherwise, this dude obviously has a JDM hardon, and needs a working car, and for all intensive purposes, they're the same). Get your stock sensors back in there, find someone to fix the wiring for you, and you'll be on your way.

well most of the wireing is right it says that i need 60 ohms of ground and i have none or is it the other way around anyway i ran a new ground wire from the maf to the ecu pinout and it changed nothing i am running 9 pounds of boost with a 3 inch exhust, front mount, 2g manifold, evo3 o2, and i get fuel cut at 4000 rpm it pulls real hard till then with the butterflyvalve setup (not sure if it is right) but my fpr vacume line runs right to the first nipple on the intake and my boost gauge is teid into it
