Durham,
when i did the engine swap i left the jdm tranny on there, after i connected my shift cables up, the shifter feels like it doesnt want to go all the way to the left, it will go to the right, but it still goes into the gears correctly??

i have no clue why its doin it

The left cable IS toolong.
and it will not adjust enough to coompensate.

Take off teh console, and unhook the cable (drivers side cable) and pull the cable so its in 1st gear, then push the shifter up, and you will see how much adjsutment you need to make,

With my JDM tranny, i had to use my dremel and CUT about 1/4th inch off the adjustment.

unscrew the ring end of the adjustment out
cut off the threads, and screw it back in.

and voila

remember to adjust the left side, the one on the arm.

Also, some believe if you take the Shifter Cable holder from your Old tranny, and drop on the JDM itll work.

since they are differnt.
