I have a 1993 Eagle talon ES instantly fell in love with it. I have drove other cars, & this one is THE funnest vehicle I've driven. I put some work in to make it roadworthy:
PASSED DEQ
New Plates & Tags
Fixed Horn
Filled fluids
New brakes & rotors
Oil flush & new oil
When I bought the car it ran with a revving idle, but other than that it drove perfectly. I cleaned out the throttle body (because of the carbon build-up) & now it doesn't have that revving problem anymore. The motor seems to be the source of a rattling noise, but I'm sure you can fix this without having to rebuilding the whole thing. I don't know exactly what's wrong with it, but it's still running & if you drive it, it will probably stall at a stop but at idle its fine.
The interior Is VERY clean, & it's ever so much better than when I first got it. The exterior is pretty straight, aside from a dent on the drivers side near the gas hole & some scratches. (I really wanted to paint it.)
I want this car to go to someone who will treat it right, fix it up, make its lifetime stretch & give it some TLC. This beastly doesn't deserve the crusher, so long live the Eagle Talon!
I'd totally be down to consider TRADING the Talon + $ for a 3000GT.
