I have a 95 eagle talon tsi awd.... I would like to start the process of building it up but have never been the smartest when it comes to cars and am in need of advice. All i have done so far is a atmospheric B.O.V and a 3" straight pipe from the turbo back. Pretty much nervous to go any farther cause i dont know which direction to head without hurting the car. Turbo, intake, intercooler???? HELP LOL i would also like to do this without getting ripped off on parts, so maybe a reference on where to get parts!!! Thanks and advice appreciated!!!

New or used parts.

New, ETS, English racing are my favorites.
Used, of course I'm my favorite source of used parts. ( I generally have a lot of 1g dsm parts of which some are great for 2g's as well) feel free to PM me.

Good luck with your car. And I'm personally not a fan of open vent on a stock car.

new or used.. doesnt matter to me!! This my first turbo car and after my straight pipe and bov, i just want more!!! After the initial install of the bov the talon ran pretty weird for awhile but now is seeming to adjust. I can tell that i need a cold source of intake or front mount intercooler cause she runs a high idle on real warm days, at least i think i need that LOL never been the best at cars, but can tell my car could be amazing with some money and knowledge... I appreciate the input. So once i do an intake, what is next?? Do i need a tune or do more work then tune?? Boost controller or dont adjust turbo??

Working on my car today, Im not a guru but I am quiet a ways down the path already and would be glad to share what I know. If you want to shoot the shit, you are more then welcome to walk around the garage / turn the wrench on a tore down 2g! Weird invite? Yes! But what the hell, its how you learn and make friends in the process I suppose!

We have a group of guys down here in Salem that get together every once in a while, not just DSM's. I'm pretty good with my car and we have another DSM guy that seems to be pretty knowledgeable, he is new to our group. If you would like to come hang out and learn some stuff with us let me know and I'll get you some more info.

I've never seen many DSM running around in Salem (or Keizer where I live), always been riced out Hondas. Where all you guys hiding at?

It's been 4-5 years now, but I always would see a clean white 2gb GSX parked downtown by Salem Center. Haven't seen too many DSMs up in Portland since I moved here...

Where in SE are you located? I live on Foster and 122nd. Its like a ghost town around here for anyone with a dsm. I saw more in Montana... Id like to start meeting some of the lucky few!

To the OP, as we discussed a couple weeks ago, Im working on the car again this weekend, Friday and Saturday if you are interested.

Dang, you're pretty close to me actually, I'm on 84th, a few blocks south of Foster.

Lol, well mine is down for the rebuild but my invitation extends to anyone wanting to meet. Id like to see more dsms around here! My garage will be open all weekend... got a new ETS FMIC to install while waiting on the stroker...

I like Dejon Intakes, they are cheap and works great. FMIC go with ETS, best you will ever have. And please do not make the same mistake as me, and do buy a DSMlink, no piggy back systems.

Hi NW! I just picked up my second dsm and am a noob to to tuneing cars. I'm not a complete dipshit as I am a machinest and love to get dirty. I'd like to hook up with some local guys and gals to work on the cars and learn. Right now I have a 95 GST and I'd like to get it some more giddy up. Anyone have a garage and like to drink beer?
