I bought this car that needed a clutch, so i replaced

-Clutch with a Exedy OEM replacement
-Pressure Plate with a Exedy
-OEM TOB
-OEM clutch fork
-OEM Pivot
-New Slave
-New Master

400$^^

-6 bolt motor swap.

200$ for new motor ^^

I bought the car for 1500$ + 600 i put into it.. i have a running TSI for 2100$ done by myself after i replaced everything.. it also has NO rust on it, not one bit of strut tower rust, only bit of rust it has is the front pinch welds from being used! inner fender wells have original paint!

I got this baby running and took her for a spin, Axle popped out i guess it was in wrong, and when i came back i heard a faint knocking in the bottom end. And of course, Rod Bearing # 3 was spun and bearing material everywhere..

When i bought the car i didn't hear a knock but that was because it never got to normal operating temp and i couldn't take it for a ride..

My buddy bought a VR4 not to long ago and took the motor out to replace the one he had laying around.. He was planning to just using this stock one to fire up his 1g down the road, well he let me trade for his vr4 6 bolt for my 6bolt that had knocking and 200 bucks! Was so appreciative towards him for this helped out so much.

Put the motor in and of course i bought the 2g intake manifold gasket.. HUGE boost leak..:ohdamn: This talon is 6 bolt swapped with the 1g intake manifold.. So i got that and fixed the oil leak!

And its been driven for 100 miles now without any major problems! :thumb:

It needs paint but this is my Daily Driver while my GST sits in garage for winters =)
I plan on doing the body work on her this coming summer while she sits and i bring out the monster GST =)

I plan on painting her White and making her a panda.. :sneaky:

Geat story on your car. The engine looks pretty clean too...
I would recommend that you replace the timing belt cover though.
One rock into the gears a it will possibly cost you a new engine.
