alright so I just wanted to post up a before and after pic of my car. The before pics are from an hour after I got the car and the after pics are from yesterday. Its nice to be able to see your own progress in front of you instead of from memory ya know? Thank god for digital cameras! I cant wait to get the FMIC and piping mounted up along with the TOTALON lip I'm getting. But in the meantime, I'm still doing little touchups here and there and making sure it stays as clean as possible.

You've definitely "made the car your own", but by mounting the Catch can horizontally, you are defeating it's purpose. Also, there are no gains form venting to atmosphere.

I dont get it, why would mounting it horizontally defeat it's purpose? LEARN ME! and for the vented haters, I traded the greddy knock off for a turboxs RFL so there's no other choice BUT to vta.

Guess I shoulda been more specific, your rims are fine, although I did like the way you got them better. Just preference though. The rim comment was for InfiniteGSX, his rims I do not like.

It's your car, do what makes you happy.

Actually there's two choices (or three, if you count just leaving it f_kked up)...Get a recirculating BOV and pipe it up correctly, or go with a blow-through setup so that the BOV is pre-MAS and you can get that all-important ricer sound without hurting the performance of your car. ;)

Your an idiot. You put down his choice of wheels, and when asked about why you put it down, you try to revert your statement and claim you were essentially trying to put down my choice of wheels. Without regards to the fact that they are similar, his are after market black wheels with red lip and mine are 1ga talon wheels painted black with red lip. And then you say "Its your car, do what makes you happy." However you placed that comment with one way direction. To him, its his car and for him to do what makes him happy. However with me, it's wrong. I could have the same wheels he does, identical in shape, size, and color and you'd say the same idiotic "put down".

OP, Your car looks great, Your wheels are Poppin! And as the retard likes to think for some strange and odd reason, I do not think its ok to vent to Atmosphere. I never said that. And even if you think your not having any issues, plug up a logger and you'll see that you are. Every time that BOV opens, your having issues. The only BOV your gonna get any noticeable sound with Recirculated, is a SSQV. However a SSQV is a very weak BOV. If your looking for performance, spend the cash on a Synapse and a recirc. kit. You'll be happy with the performance, however you'll prob never hear that one, unless your stickin your head out the window and trying.

Its not that were hating. Its just that the car does see performance loss during the times the bov opens. Your not on the Type S... You should get the Type S Back, Cause that bov is a hell of a lot better than that RFL. Your bov opens even during times you don't realize. Give the car some gas and let it roll down a hill in gear and the bov will most likely be open because of the significant vacuum. All that missing air is throwing off your fuel maps. It may sound good, but its not worth it really.
