It's pretty good camera and suprisingly gets good battery life. Pretty sturdy too it's handled being beat up a little and having a margarita spilled on it with no problems at all Here is a picture I took with it of my truck. This is the raw photo with no enhancing in photoshop. (I don't have any good shots of the GSX to post other than the normal curbside shots )

I actually use 3 camera's. 2 digital and of course a film camera. I have a Canon 300D that I use primarly. My second digital is a Nikon coolpix 5400. I use a Nikon FM2 for film.
1st pic is from the 300D, 2nd is from the 5400.

whats your budget? Are you looking for:

-something small?
-how big of an lcd do you need?
-need a viewfinder?
-want to take movie clips with audio?
-takes standard aa batteries or lithium-ion batt. + charger
-shutter lag a problem?
-are you going to blow up your pictures (bigger than 8x10)?
-need stabilization because your hands are shaky?

figure out which ones are of main concern, then im sure you can find something that meets your needs.

I actually got mine from Dell. I didn't even know they sold non-Dell products but they do and they were the cheapest at the time I bought mine. Circuit City was second but still a bit more than Dell. Takes some awesome pictures though

honestly ive found dell has the cheapest prices on EVERYTHING electronic, thats why i got my napster music vault from them! =)
