I currently have a roll bar in my car. I plan to make a full cage out if it this year. Due to my height the forward bars coming down along the a-pillar will be in my way considerably and I think it would be best to have the bars come down through the dash right behind the firewall.
I was hoping some people with cages could post pics, links to pics, or link to gallery photos with their cages so I could see how its done. Any help would be appreciated!!

Thanx. That's what I don't want to do though. The cage bars like that will make it difficult to enter/exit for me...I'm 6'2". I want to see how people have run the bars through their dash where the speakers are normally located. I'm working with a local race car builder to make the cage and wanted to give him a better idea of what I want and to find out how much it will cost.

Well,I just bought Sean Ivey's car,and the cage comes down through the speaker mounting points in the dash.He is over 6ft.4 so thats why he had the cage put in that way.The car is still on the website if you want to sneak a peek. www.iveytune.com
Go under articles and look at the turbo mag or DSport article.Either one lets you see how the cage was installed.
