heres my problem. My car has a sputter that sometimes is there, and sometimes isnt there. Im new to this site, but not new to dsms. My car is currently running 23 psi, so i did a boost leak test at 25 psi, its all sealed up, changed my plugs, and wires. gaped my plugs at .028. I put in the bpr7es ones. im kinda at a loss here, Any help would be great

Try gap plugs tighter also who tuned your car. Check maintenance like changing fuel filter. Are you on pump gas?

My car was tuned by Lucas English. He actually gaped them at .020, but I went back to the factory recommended .028. Im only running pump gas, and I was thinking fuel filter myself. I need a wideband o2. could poor power from my alternator have any affect on this?

But if it was my fuel filter wouldnt it be more consistant sputter, and only get worse?

Yea they always gap there plugs to 20. Shame on you for not having a wideband get one asap. Well have you ever changed your fuel filter it won't hurt.
