Ok, so it was a scorching 80 degrees yesterday here in Seattle. For some reason, my car would start and run/drive when the motor was cold. I made it to the store, and after getting what i needed, i went to leave, and my car would start, idle for 2 seconds, and die. I called Boss Innovations and David told me that when the temp outside gets to a certain point, sometimes the cars dont like to run. Can anyone tell me why that is and how to fix it? Thanks.

You probably don't have your ISC adjusted properly or it's dead. It is not normal. Could also have a bad baro/temp portion of your MAF and it's not throwing a CEL. Whatever it is, it's not normal and you should have it fixed.

the weird thing is that its only 5 degrees cooler today and the car runs and drives fine...?

Hot start - vapor lock. VFAQ it to read about what you've never heard of.

Working with the bits and pieces you gave me, this was what I was referring too. Without taking the time to allow me a fair opportunity to look at the car, it's not really expected of me to fix your issue, but I did take the time to point you somewhere.

David, I did not mean any disrespect by this post. I was simply asking others, as I knew you couldn't tell me exactly what was going on without looking at the car, if they have had something like this issue before and how they may have fixed their problem to kind of get a better idea of what I should try so I could fix it. My apologies.
