Anyone have a welder in/around Portland?

Anyone in or around the Portland area have a DC stick/TIG welder I can use for the price of some beers or something? I would buy all of my own supplies of course. I'm planning to make my own exhaust manifold, and I'd like to use stick because that is what I know best. PM me or post here if you can help out. Thanks

You should sign up for a class at the college. You could probably take a special projects class and have access to quality tools. I am taking Intro to GTAW right now at MHCC. Good luck with the build. I hope one day I can spend 5000 on a good welder.

Thanks! Yeah, I've done that before too, down at LBCC, only in the class I was in, they wouldn't let me do projects. It is a good idea though, I'll have to look into it if I don't find somebody that can help out. I wish I had the money for a TIG, that would be nice.
