need help with over heating 2g guru help

my car is heating up whenever i drive it or when the car is just park at my house, i change the head cover gasket cause the last one was crack. before i did that the car was heating a little bit but now is going way to high to 230 degrees. if anybody give me some advice that will be good thank you.

Sounds like your thermostat just crapped out. Touch the bottom rad hose when the car is hot. If it feels MUCH cooler that the upper hose you have a dead thermostat.

Start whith the thermostat if that dosen't help then you may have bigger problems.
Water pump or radiator.

If not the afformentioned you may have a clogged heater core. Check your coolant and see if its got oil in it also. Could be a cracked block/head or blown headgasket again.
