95 eclipse wont start :/ ..... please help
okay. so ive got a 95 eclipse gsT.
had major overheating issues apparntly because coolant wasnt pressurized correctly.
replaced water pump, redid timing, new seals, now theres ZERO leaks.
Tried to start the car.. forgot to plug the CPS in, the car started, ran for a seconds, and died. realized it wasnt plugged in. plugged it in. not it will not start anymore...
sounds like it wants to, but just not happening.
Possible bad CPS sensor?? The car has spark, has fuel.
The car basically overheated(not in the red but close)
and blew the water pump and with all that replaced it hasnt ran since....(few days ago)
Any suggestions?!
I have no idea where to even look and begin anymore.
Please help......

When the new water pump, timing belt and everything was put back together.
the car DID start.
it ran for a max of 30 seconds.. the idle was rough
then died.. and then it started back up a few times afterwards
ran for less and less
and now it just doesnt start at all....
turns over but doesnt start.
... suggestions?!

Did you prime the oil pump? Actually this is a better question. How much did you rebuild? Does it crank or is it dead completely? We will start there and dont worry, we will get to the bottom of it. I have built a few of these motors and will help as much as I can.

You said that you guys replaced the timing belt, right? You might wanna check the timing again just to make sure.

the 2G runs and drives fine now. it had some vacuum lines not pluged in and needed a new head, headgasket, waterpump, mas and map sensor, boost controler (pushin 20 or more psi) running a bastard 20g turbo, and it blew the fmic piping. when driving to redmond to the last nissan/dsm/evo meet and blew the FMIC piping on the side of i-405. but now it works fine but still needs a boost controler or its still going to blow the IC piping.
