Turbocharger rebuild shop in the vancouver/portland area?
Anyone know of a good place in the vancouver/portland area to get my turbo rebuilt? I'll ship it off if I have to but would like a shop close instead. Thanks!
The shipping part won't be the slow part .....its the shop or the turbo rebuild parts that might be slow. If I were to have a turbo rebuilt I'd send it to the most reputable shop in the US.
inneedof, it's a AGP RS49T 50 Trim Turbo .63 A/R. And thorlief4g63 English is where I always take my car, but they don't do turbo rebuilds and when i called they couldn't recomend anyone close so i guess i'll ship it out. I've been told gpopshop.com is probably the best place, any suggestions?
i have a friend that rebuilds turbos, i belive hes living in tacoma now. I could let him know your in need if youd like.. i think he chargers around 300 for a complete rebuild.and will beat any advertised price.
Sorry I wasnt aware that he didnt do rebuilds, it is by choice not lack of skill I guess. I just figured he did because he does full motor and transmissions. My bad.
