I recently have been driving and noticing that when i give it full throttle at about 3000 rpms, the clutch seems to slip, but not like what i experienced before when my clutch went out. It starts to slip but my entire CAR shakes uncontrollably! I can drive normally without giving it full throttle but when i go WOT it does this. only when i boost above like 5 psi. so can anyone help? I replaced the clutch about 20k miles ago. I don't think it should have gone out Already!

Sounds like a worn clutch with chatter. Let the clutch out from a stop and let it slip {slow engagement} see if there is any shaking ,if there is its chatter new clutch time. Chatter happens when something is warped disk pressure plate flywheel.

no sure what you mean, by let clutch out from a stop and let it slip.... just give it gas in first until it slips?

from a stop ride the clutch move but dont let the clutch out all the way see if it shakes. [chatters] .

Well I dunno about the 4g63 preferences, I thought the ACT 2600 would be suffcient, however if you want to look into a completely different direction, talk to Andy at South Bend Clutches, Mines sitting at home ready to be put in And I have only heard good things.

act's are very hit and miss, you could get one that will hold up and relsease well, or one that will be quite the opposite, big rand stole my first clutch suggestion, i have also had good luck in the past with an rre no name clutch

Go with act2600 i also have a act 2100 and only 2k on it. It will slip with a hard launch, too much of that will overheat and warp clutch disks if your making good power you need 2600, wish i got that one first but it was backorded at the time

i work at an auto parts store and the commercial manager ordered me a Lifetime Warranty clutch, it holds 35 percent more power than stock so its sufficient to hold around the same power i have now...... the company is called Rhino Clutches, i got it here in my hands it looks pretty nice and durable, but looks aren't everything... so i will see how this one holds up....

i picked up a similar clutch kit with a liftime warrenty for $134 :)

will let you know the results soon

CFDF maybe? I ran that on my 91 gsx with zero problems. Previous owner tracked the car at willow springs and I did my share of hard driving to the vehicle as well and the clutch never gave any issues. With your power levels it might be a good alternative.
