looking for a good tuning place, (dyno time and safc tuning) for my eclipse, i am getting a safc soon and would like to take it to a good shop here in seattle area. any help would be apreciated. also, are we all getting together sunday at Pacific Raceways? just making sure, ill be there early in the morning

Im gonna try and go on Sunday, i am gonna take my car to dyno authority here in redmond. They aren't the cheapest but from what i have heard from friends they can tune anything bsaically. I went in last week and asked them about if they could tune the S-AFC and they said they could no problem. Speedware motorsports tunes all their cars there as well. They have a website http://www.dynoauthority.com/ . They have tuned one of my friends evo's and i have seen other high end cars there too.

Andre will probably send you (or at least do it himself ) over at intec since it right next to his shop, using their dyno jet. that's probably the closest and best place to go, and andre has been working with DSM's for years and will get done right provided that your car is ready to be tuned.

Hey, I just want to put it out there that Illtech is hands down the best shop in the region. You go there and you will see they mean business. The owner Cody is straight up and the customer service is #1 !!!! They do real engine work like port + polish , 3 angle valve jobs, ECU tune, engine swaps etc... NOT ONLY THAT , but if you can find a cheaper price ANYWHERE, and bring it in , they will charge u that price and u dont pay the shipping. How badass is that ? The part that blew me away : They do warranty work if you get turned away from the dealership and ignore your mods... Like I said , #1 ... GO check em out , they are down by the Tacoma Dome ( the Tacoma train station court houses ) up on the 3rd tier of hills. on the left. Im not advertising for em - I just am that impressed.

In all honesty, you won't find too many amazing tuners in the Seattle area. I know a few who are great at DSMs but they won't tune others cars anymore, they got out of that business. One of the best tuners in the country is located down in Portland at RRev Motorsports. If you have ANY stand alone or piggy backs, John Reed can tune them.

I like Pina Motorsports, but I cant vouch for the tuning skills cause I do my own.
They will have a new AWD DynoJet in a couple months! :D ....AWW yeah! Cant wait!

Until Pina gets their own, they go to other Dyno's for tunes, and they'll also street tune. If you only need A/F ratio's tuned thats no biggie. Pina or anyone with half a brain can do that. Pina will do a o2 bung/plug install for $50 flat fee... Then its only $65 an Hour for o2 tuning. I'm sure you could get the S-AFC tuned in under a hour. PLUS next time you do another mod that requires more tuning, you only have to pay $65 a hour for tuning, because you'll already have the o2 bung ready.

OR If you're like me....think about how many times you might pay to have someone tune your car over the next couple years ....then add that cost up.... THEN think about buying you own Wideband o2 reader. If you did that, You can play around with different mods, and afterwards tune the car to a safe A/F ratio every time. (That's what I would do. Air Fuel Ratio tuning is super super easy). Plus doing your own tuning is fun!

Orrrrrr, goto the track, and have some of the local DSM'ers help you out for free.. Nothing wrong with dyno tuning, just speaking my mind. It always means more when you can say 'you' put down x.x e.t on the quarter mile or x.xhp on the dyno. If you need help tuning your car with an SAFC, there are plenty of articals, and people that will help..

John Reed is one of the best stand alone tuners in the world but for DSMs with SAFC,MAFT's, MAFT Pro or DSM link he would probably send them my way.
