Ebay Turbo kits

This site may earn a commission from merchant affiliate links, including eBay, Amazon, and others.

This computer at work is to damn slow and i couldnt post the other kit but if you go to their store you will see it, its a t3/t4 kit. tell whats up. Or your selling some stuff let me know also.

Neg on the ebay turbo kits... Quality, quality, quality... That manifold will crack overtime, and those ebay turbos normally fail after only a few thousand miles. Best bet is to go get an EVO3 16G + 2G install kit from Forced Performance, a ported 2G or EVO3 manifold, Hallman Manual boost controller, 680cc injectors, Walbro fuel pump + rewire, and a S-AFC... You can get all of this for little over $1500 and can put you into the low 12s with some practice...

Even better than that would be to get all of those parts and also find a 95 EEPROM ecu and get a Keydiver chip and use the chip and S-AFC or just go DSMLink altogether...

Estimated Prices:
FP EVO3 16G + 2G install kit - $744.00 (Forced Performance)
Ported EVO3 Manifold - about $250 (Most DSM stores like Buschur or FP)
680cc injectors - $200 (Just search around the classifieds or DSM stores)
Hallman MBC - $65 (just search online)
Walbro 255 + Rewire Kit - $140 (Any online performance store)
S-AFC - $125 (eBay is great for these)

TOTAL - about $1550

Extra but better options:
95 EEPROM ecu - $200 (DSM classifieds)
Keydiver chip - $140 (DSMChips.com)
DSMLink - $600 (DSMLink.com)

This route isn't for everyone, but this is the route that I plan on going with my 1G. Since I already have a EEPROM ecu, I'm going with all of this setup:
FP EVO3 16G
Ported EVO3 Manifold
3" Turboback Exhaust
Extreme Turbo Systems FMIC w/ Short-Route Piping
Dejon Intake
680cc injectors
Hallman MBC
Walbro 255 + Rewire Kit
Stage 3 Keydiver chip
GM MAF + MAF-T Gen 2 in blowthrough mode
1G Datalogger

I'll go with DSMLink and scrap the Keydiver chip when the time comes that I need the additional support... Hope this guide helps...

If your broke man, be prepared for ebay parts to just start falling off your car. Listen to Sonyslave he's got the DSM turbo thing pretty much down pat, and both of those options he listed are very feeasible and more importantly reliabe.

You could go the ebay route but expect to be replacing major parts as time goes on, Also be praying or hoping or whatever you have to do that when a peice of the kit breaks, it doesn't mess up anything else in the motor.

Also just becareful when you start upgrading your car, and your broke, maintenace, or lack their of, is usually what sends a dsm to the dsm graveyard. So please keep that in mind.

Sonyslave thanks for the info, yea that helps alot. I real cautious about buying things from ebay especially something that effects performance and my motor. But i knew the ebay thing wasnt a good idea i just wanted to see what others thought, i did hear about one dsm guy who is going all ebay with his set-up. So i just wanted to check it out. Thanks for the links and ideas sonyslave and rand

If you do decide to run any ebay parts, mainly the ssautochrome/xs power products let me know as a friend out of spokane does alot of their ebay sales and I can most likely save you a little bit of cash.
