Hey just wondering how many DSM people we have up here by Burlington, WA? We should do a meet sometime in the first part of July. Post your reply about this and give me some dates.:talon: :dsm: :laser:
 
Where at in Oregon are you? Its kind of a drive from there but we can pick a new spot because its about an hour North from Seattle.
 
ya i live in everett and im up in mt vernon for the races alot but i havent brought my car up there. lemme know when you wanna do this meet. my car is in global import car show this upcoming weekend so thats no good but just lemme know
 
I was thinking about the first weekend in July. It gives people time to plan accordingly and thats when i get back from Nevada.
 
ya we can do it saturday the eight like 1 oclock meet in burlington and cruise to deception pass...sound good maybe meet somewhere off the free way like the bus depot right next the police station in mt. vernon?
 
Okay cool cause I can drag down like 3 or 4 more guys from where im at.
 
I grew up in Burlington... lived up on the 9th hole up their on the golf corse, Perterson Road... Sence when did Mount Vernon have Races? I've been gone 7 years and miss probably the only cool thing that ever happend to the good old Skagit Valley...

The Mt Vernon/Burlington scene has gotten pretty crazy in the last few years. It started out with just a handful of people. Then the Bellingham people started going there, and it got huge. A few fast cars dominated it for a while and it died down. Then these guys from Everett started showing up and it's back to what it used to be. If you can get past all of the bs it can be pretty interesting sometimes.
 
When I lived their, there was no scene. Are you guys racing on the street? Hanging out in parking lots? I just don't see Burlington as one of those kinda places. I don't know, I guess things have really changed.. Is their a track now?

Use to live in Bellingham too. Out by the Airport, Mcloud RD! If Spokane wasn't so far away I'd love to get back over their for a meet.
 
Ya'll are making me want to come up from Olympia just to check it out.

I've got a couple of friends up at western I might have to visit and then just come down a lil more.

I'm not racing on the streets. I can't say that for everybody else though. From what I hear they head out west on highway 20 and there are a couple of very secluded spots where they race. There were a lot of fast cars out there before but now it's just a couple of semi-stock Evo's that will only race cars that are slower then their's.

A ton of mexicans came out drunk and wrecked their car at the airport, so nobody goes out there anymore. Cops were hiding in the bushes for a few weekends after that and scared everybody away. This is all stuff I have heard from people that were there, so I don't know how accurate it is.
 
Oh shit man that was a LONG time ago LOL I have not talked with Tyler for a while last I heard he was working at a Napa up there in b-town. I dont remember seeing a GVR4 when I was there though.

HAHAHA thats awsome. I thought he was done with boosted stuff after his dsm adventure. His old 50trim lives on skunkedtsi's car(tyler also) and has turned 11's so far. Kinda strange how things turn out. Well if you see him tell him I said what up! And someone setup up a meet on sunday for christ sake:D
