Help w/ car to get to the BBQ!

Ok, so here's the skinny.

I'm in the military, air force to be exact, and I have orders to England for the end of November. Parts will be hard to come by over there (except for evo3 parts!) and shipping will be insane and customs blah blah blah.

Anyway, so I decided to order up most all that I can get, large things mostly. But before I'm able to get out of travis, they're like "hey, you're going to Spain for 2 months," I come back somewhere around 22-26 of this month. While I've been out here, I have been ordering the shite out of stuff, which I'll be getting to.

So I noticed that there is a meet/bbq in San Jose on the 8th of October, I believe that it's totally doable to have my car at least running by then, because this will probably be my last chance to see more than just my dsm at a meet.

So here's what I'm suggesting, if anyone is down, to come over and help me out to get here running for the bbq. It'll at least put some miles on my motor to break it in . I've got access to an assortment of tools, a hoist, enclosed garage(house). I do need a torque wrench or two though.

ANYWAY, so here's my list. That I can remember for now.

Porter's crate 7 bolt pretty much stock (easy way out I know) deadline

Trying to get my hands on a tcase and trans - mine needs a rebuild


There's more, but that pretty much pertains to what is needed. I've got some tein coilovers too, but those aren't needed to run ;-)

I'll get dsmlink eventually, but I'm rocking the maft gen2 for now. P.S> if someone is familiar with setting a tune with the gen2, that'd be great, otherwise I'll read around and figure it out ;-)

Well mitsubishi apparently shipped my parts to the wrong dealership -_- so they'll arrive on monday hopefully, if not i'm taking my money elsewhere

I literally just got off the plane 3 hours ago hehe, thanks for checking up though. Still waiting on the motor, so I think I just install my coilovers over the weekend.

Yeah i knew that, just was wondering why he would put the 2 as like separate units. It was confusing. I knew what the transfer case was, but that they were sometimes referred to as t cases. So what it seemed like was he was comparing the 2 as different units. That is good. How does it ride?

It rides like she's on rails, it is so much nicer. An investment, I won't ever have to buy anymore, except a rebuild eventually . Although I'm going to raise it a bit or roll the fenders...which is easy haha.

Yeah i was confused. Ha. But yeah i hope to be there. I just purchased a gsx along with my gst, so im hoping to take the new gsx.

Yeah my gsx has Meagan coilovers and shit, they are amazing. They make the car so different then my gst. well, the awd helps. Ha. But make sure you get the car alined.

Yep yep, I've got front and rear camber, adjusters, I guess you can call them, on order. I can't be running around looking like a honda
