emissions questions

Im here from Las Vegas nevada, Im here in the bay area with family until i can get a place in sacramento to go to UTI. my question is this. will i pass emissions? I have no current codes but I do have aftermarket intake and full exhaust. Does the dmv do visual inspections?

I have already removed my aftermarket intake manifold and direct port nitrous.

Welcome to California. Anything without a C.A.R.B. sticker on it will not pass the visual inspection. As for exhaust, I've never had a problem with either of mine on my non turbo or turbo car. Greddy for the GS. 3in turbo back HKS on the gsx.

As long as its not the state ref, and you have a cat. Just have to find someone who only cares about you actually passing the emissions test.

But now adays no one wants to give up their spot, even if its just someone who overlooks visual.

EVAP and other emission related components should probably be put back on if removed.

So find someone that will only care about the actually emissions test? because I know I will not pass the visual test. Its stupid that I would need a sticker to say that my intake is legal. there's nothing different between my ebay intake and an AEM one.

What is a state ref? Is it only if I get pulled over and a cop checks under the hood and he gives me a ticket?
