[RESOLVED] GSX was stolen CA license plate number 6CGR021

Just dropping a short plea to the members of the community. If you happen to see a black 96 GSX, license plate number 6CGR021 driving around, call the police because it's stolen. Got in from work around 11:30 last night and settled in, when I got up to go to work today it was nowhere to be seen. It wasn't towed, so only leads to one conclusion.

Anyways, other major identifying marks to the car would be the lack of a clear coat on the roof, spoiler, and further oxidation along the driver's side rear quarter panel, faded carbon fiber hood with some black hoodpins, and gold RS Limited rims. There are a few pictures in my gallery with what the car looks like.

It was located in the Sunset District of San Francisco ( I live right down the block from Taraval Police Station, the car was parked infront of the house. ). Just installed a new Injen Intake and Koyo Radiator, so if you see any ads, please shoot a PM my. Any help or tips is really appreciated folks. It's a shame after all this time when I could finally get to putting some love and money into the car this happens, but just how it goes. Thanks again.

very sad to hear that happened man hope someone will have some clue at some point good luck trying to find it.

I would say give it a week or so to check in the classified since they will probably wait for the waters to cool down. I just checked in craigslist,backpage,ebay california section throughly and there is nothing yet I will check in a couple days if I see anything familiar I will PM you.

Damn that sucks. I hear a lot of Honda's getting jacked in the Sunset but not dsm's. I will keep a look out in the SF area. I will also post this on a local forum for you.

+1 on that, most people i know who have had their cars stolen get multiple tickets on the car before someone figure out that its stolen!!!

Thanks for all of the support folks. I hate to have a pessimistic outlook on it all, but as soon as I saw the empty spot I realized that the car was probably already in pieces. I'm aware the likelihood of Police finding anything is slim, and honestly I wouldn't expect them to with the load they have on their plate( though Im sure if they do find the car they'll be happy to send me the bill for towing/storage ).

Again, it's really nice to see all the support, and many thanks 99_gstracer for putting in that extra work to make things a bit more noticeable.

I just thought about something man. You might want to search around Oakland or Stockton for your car. When my first car was stolen in SF, they found it in Oakland down an alley. My cousin also had his car stolen, and they found it stripped and abandoned in Stockton. I know a lot of stolen cars in this area end up in Stockton. I totally forgot to mention this in my first post.

So True, The Valley Doesn't like the Bay Cars, Never have and Never will, Check out stocktons craigslist and modesto, all the honda owners are hating on us............
