looking for a part

I have gone through 2 fuel sending units in a week and I'm wondering if the E85 is wrecking them. The one off my parts car only lasted 4 days and now it reads 1/8th of a tank all the time. Check my local add out: Message - DSM Classifieds

One other thing you may want to check is if it is a bad ground to your gauge cluster. I had the exact same problem, and I would keep on messing with the sending unit, and it would work for a while before crapping out again. Finally, I had an unrelated problem with the gauge cluster, and in troubleshooting added a ground to the cluster. Bam, fuel gauge problem fixed. Worth a shot before you go through another sending unit, Good luck!
