Anyone want to give me a hand?
I got a few things to install on my car and I need a hand. I am a little behind on installing them since school finals were in motion, but now I am all done.

I can handle this job, but it might take me a little more than 2 hours. I like to have the extra time just in case something doesn't come off right. Is your drivers side motor mount in good shape?

Yeah, Dave rocks. I haven't bugged him lately but that's because I haven't been working on my car lately... haha!

Car feels great, although i was show-boating in front of my friends house and i kind of rode the clutch too much on a launch, so it slipped through 1st, 2nd,and some of 3rd gear, then the car smelt like clutch for the next hour or so...
I havent driven it since, i wanted the clutch to cool down, i hope i didnt toast it, ive never had a act slip like that, ive torn through a couple stock clutches, but i hope the act is ok next time i drive it.

2600 maybe 10k on the disc (put it in new with my motor) 15k+ on the pressure plate
If its messed up im thinking of changing it maybe... something that will shift a little better yet is streetable (not a twin disc)
EDIT, i just did a launch through 3rd and the car felt fine. The clutch felt a little wierd after driving normally, but its probably because i warmed up the car, beat on it for 4 blocks, then drove it back home and cooled it off haha.
I'll have to do some more driving around in the car to really see if the car is messed up, but my friend just wanted a taste of what a turbo car feels like so i gave him one, then there were some cops in the area so i had to park it real quick.

Booo...twin disk is the best! They're streetable. I drove Pat's EVO around and he has a QM twin disk. Took a couple tries to get a good feel for it, but after that, it's much nicer than a stiff ACT. Plus that thing GRABS.

Not anyone local, YET. Most of the fast cars are running PTT or QM, most say they're nearly identical. I'll have a QM going in the car in about a month as well. I'll let you know how it goes.
Good to hear you got a twin disk too, Dave. How's that new motor coming along

The new motor is coming along slowly. I keep finding ways to add a few more HP, like higher compression, adjustable cam gears, crank scraper, etc. Doing a full motor and tranny rebuild always seems to take too long. It's going to be sweet once it's done.

What's your take on a full main girdle for the 6 bolt, the one kiggly offers. I'm thinking of utilizing one on my next build. Along with the beehive springs. Are you going 9.0:1 now?
