Buying new parts for 1g need some help

Hey guys what sup, i bought a 1g a while back in august and i now have saved money to fix it. I bought a new radiator and manifold, but i need to buy a short shifter, new head bolts, and electronic boost controller. I have about 400ish to spend on these 3, if you guys could help me out that would be great.

Thanks, Chris.

very easy fix

don't get an ebc and you'll be set. I'd recomend buying a joe p or whatever mbc. Its cheap and works. I built mine at home depot, but its too much r&d to be worth it. Gotta find the correct spring, tap, and everything, its just not worth it. As far as the head bolts, if you just plan on keeping a tiny turbo on there, apr headstuds will work perfectly. It doesn't sound like you have really big plans for your car, so don't worry about pushing more air than those things can keep in the combustion chambers. Those run like 100 new, so your sitting at about 150 shipped. As for the short shifter, you have a 1990, which SUCKS. I have a short shifter for my 90, but I got lucky. Someone sold me their used welded fidanza one for 30 bucks shipped. Im really happy with it other than N is where 3rd should be, and 3rd stuffs the shifter into the cd player. 4th is where N should be. All other gears are equally effected by this.

i dunno what to tell you, no one makes a short shifter for the 90. Just buy a shorter shift knob or buy the 91+ fidanza and have someone weld it,...

F the short shifter, just put a 2g shift nob on there ( or is it a 3kgt?) is shorter and feels great. Get a regular mbc and then when you get arp headstuds you can afford a nice new headgasket to put in at the same time, get your timing belt stuff done as well while you have the head off! (if you want to pull the head)
